Water is essential, even more so in the colder months. Why, you may ask? It’s this simple: REHYDRATION. Some of us tend to think that the body is only losing water when it sweats. Apart from sweating, there are a number of functions the body performs that require water, and did you know some of these functions demand more water in colder weather? Ever wonder why your skin feels drier during winter and Autumn? Or why you need to use the loo more often when it’s cold? Or better still, ever wonder why you eat more in winter? (Perhaps you’re confusing your hunger alarm with the water siren!)
